LOCATION: Washtenaw Sportsman's Club, 5095 Ellis Road, Ypsilanti, Mi
FIRING LINE: Eight (8) position covered firing line.
ELIGIBILITY: Open to anyone interested in Silhouette Shooting.
TIME: Set-up 9:00; Sight-in 10:00; Match starts at 11:00 am
COURSE OF FIRE: Standard NRA Squadded 40-shot match; two 5-shot strings
at each of the following: Chickens 40 meters, Pigs 60 meters, Turkeys 77 meters,
and Rams 100 yards. All shooting is done from the standing position.
RULES & CLASSIFICATION: NRA Rules and Classification System will be
followed, any exceptions will be posted and announced before the start of the
match.
DISQUALIFICATION: Any competitor who fires a shot before the ready
command will be disqualified from the match. Also second warning of a high
muzzle above the horizontal will also be grounds for disqualification.
TIES: Ties will be broken in accordance to the NRA shoot-off rules.
COMPETITORS: Competitors will be required to perform scoring, target
setting, range set-up, and range take-down duties.
ENTRY FEES: Entries will be accepted on the day of the match starting at
9:00 am. Entry Fee for match is $5.00
AWARDS: Awards for the match will be posted before the match begins and
the match results will be posted at the next match.
PINS: Five and Ten-in-row pins will be awarded.
MEALS: There will be no lunch break or catering service provided.
EQUIPMENT: Any 22 caliber rifle may be used. Standard velocity
ammunition only.
LIABILITY: Washtenaw Sportsman's Club and officers accept no liability
for personal injury, theft, or property damage involving competitors,
spectators, or target setters.
